Weir Boiler Feed Pump
At the side of the boiler house is the boiler feed pump room containing the oil separator tanks, feed water tank and two steam driven Weir boiler feed pumps.

Condensate pumped from the hot well passes through the oil separator tanks, to remove the oil it has collected on its passage through the engines, and into the feed water tank. Any boiler treatment that was required would be added to the water in this tank. From the feed water tank the boiler feed pump pumps the water to the boilers via the economiser.
